FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 5pm, the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate. We want to celebrate in style.

Question

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

We love your children but we ask that they stay home for the night of our celebration. We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is valet at Thalatta Estate. If you plan on drinking, please consider a ride share service like Uber.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be fully outdoors but February in Florida is near perfection. Our ceremony is on grass. Please consider your footwear choices accordingly.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We plan on having an entree choice that's vegetarian, gluten and nut free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Question

Have you reserved blocks of hotels at one or more hotel?

Answer

Yes, we're reserved rooms at both Hotel Arya and the Courtyard Marriott Coconut Grove. Please see the travel page for more information on booking.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.
