Airports in the Area, DFW & Dallas Love Field
If you’re flying in from out of town, you’ve got two great airport options: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL). DFW is the bigger airport with lots of airlines and flight options. You’ll have plenty of flights to choose from and more amenities. On the other hand, Dallas Love Field is smaller and more convenient, mainly served by Southwest Airlines. It offers easier access and often cheaper rates for domestic travelers. If you’re traveling from the West Coast, DFW is like flying into San Francisco Airport—larger, busier, with lots of international connections. Love Field is more like San Jose Airport—smaller, more streamlined, and easier to get in and out of, but with fewer airline choices.
