We've curated a selection of accommodations to help make your travel planning seamless. You can find our recommended lodging options on the "Travel" page of our wedding website or through the Airbnb wish list linked in our Linktree (accessible via the QR code on your Save the Date). We suggest staying near Felt, Idaho, as it's closest to our main Airbnb where the reception and week-long celebrations will unfold. Jackson Hole is another option, situated closer to Grand Teton National Park, though it tends to be more expensive. Keep in mind that Felt is approximately one hour from the park. To maximize convenience and potentially reduce travel costs, we recommend coordinating accommodations with other guests and friends.
We recommend Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) for the most convenient arrival, as it's the closest option to Grand Teton National Park. However, if you're looking to maximize savings, Idaho Falls Airport (IDA) offers flights at roughly half the cost of JAC, though it does require a longer drive to the area. For the most budget-friendly option, Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is worth considering—flights are typically the most affordable, though you should plan for approximately a 3.5 to 4-hour drive to the venue. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your priorities regarding convenience and cost.
We recommend booking your flights and accommodations early to secure the best rates and availability. While flight and hotel prices tend to increase closer to your travel date, rental car costs remain relatively stable. For flight research, we found Google Flights helpful for comparing initial schedules, and then booked directly through our preferred airlines. For lodging, we explored options on Airbnb and also considered local hotels, finding a variety of choices that suited our needs.
To explore Grand Teton National Park comfortably and efficiently, we recommend renting a car. We typically book through the AAA rental portal, which often provides Hertz vehicles at competitive rates. For those interested in sharing transportation costs, carpooling with other wedding guests is also a great option!
We invite you to dress in semi-formal attire that complements the breathtaking mountain landscape. Feel free to embrace colors that reflect the natural beauty of our surroundings. Our most important wish is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and radiant as we celebrate our special day together!
If you plan to join us for our adventures throughout the remainder of the wedding week, we recommend packing comfortable hiking boots or shoes, versatile hiking pants or leggings, and layers that will help you adapt to the quickly changing mountain temperatures.
Our ceremony and reception will take place at different venues. The wedding ceremony will be held at the Wedding Tree, a picturesque location just outside Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Following the ceremony, we'll celebrate at Our Place, our Airbnb in Felt, Idaho, which is approximately one hour and thirty minutes away from the ceremony site.
Our ceremony will take place on protected national land where seating is not permitted. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes that will allow you to stand and enjoy the natural beauty of our surroundings.
Due to the fact that this a remote location, there are no bathrooms at the ceremony site.
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
