HIS VERSION: Anytime people ask me how I met Ajla, I always start the conversation with, “We had Chemistry together… “ meaning we literally had Chemistry class together our freshman year at Texas A&M. She also lived two doors down from me in the dorms, so we crossed paths fairly often. One day I asked her to study with me in Evans Library, and that became our routine almost every single night. For that whole 2nd semester I was doing both of our Chemistry homework assignments, but I didn’t mind because I got to spend more time with her. We hung out almost every day and remained platonic friends up until the last day of finals where we both finally confessed to having feelings for each other… took half a year for both of us to stop being stubborn and finally admit that we liked each other. After dating over that summer break, and realizing we shared a lot of life goals and the focus on completing our college education, we officially became a couple that next semester when we moved back to College Station. HER VERSION: I met Adrian freshman year of college where we were basically next door neighbors at our dorm. One day, my roommate and I needed help with our calculus homework so we texted in the dorm group chat. Adrian and his roommate Chase (groomsman) showed up to help us. Ever since then, Adrian gladly helped me with my calculus, chemistry, and physics assignments. I was not particularly looking for a relationship, so I dodged some of the feelings I was beginning to develop. After leaving Adrian in the friend-zone for several months, I finally gave into the feelings and gave him a shot. The rest is history ;)
