We’re so excited to welcome you to our wedding in Topanga Canyon. Our home is nestled in the hills, and our venue, The 1909, is just nearby in the canyon. Because the area is spread out and ride share availability can be limited, we highly recommend renting a car. For most guests, we recommend Airbnb or Vrbo-style stays as the best option. Below are some great nearby areas with easy drive times to the venue: __________ Topanga (Staying in the Canyon) 0–10 minutes to venue For those who want the full nature escape, staying in Topanga is magical—think cabins, hillside homes, and total quiet. It’s very forest-meets-coast energy, but accommodations are limited and more spread out. Malibu ~15–20 minutes to venue Oceanfront homes, beach views, and a relaxed coastal luxury feel. Malibu is beautiful but not very walkable, so it’s best for those who want a peaceful, scenic stay by the water. Santa Monica ~25–35 minutes to venue The most “classic LA” option—walkable beach town, great restaurants, hotels, and nightlife. If you want more action, dining, and a true California coastal experience, this is a great choice. Woodland Hills ~15–20 minutes to venue A more residential, suburban area with larger homes (often with pools) and easier parking. A practical and comfortable option for groups who want space and convenience. Brentwood ~25–35 minutes to venue An upscale Westside neighborhood between the coast and Beverly Hills. Quiet, polished, and very central if you plan to explore LA during your stay.
