Traditional Dances

Listed below are dances/traditions that guests can participate in with the newlyweds. We would love for everyone to enjoy these traditions!

La Vibora de La Mar (the Sea Snake Dance): the bride & groom forms an arch, when the music starts guests pass under the arch while holding hands and running around the reception room

El baile del dólar; guests dance with the bride & groom but pin cash onto the couple's clothes. This traditional dance symbolizes a gesture to help couples start their new lives together.

El muertito, also known as tossing of the groom: the male guests get together to lift the groom over their shoulders and walk him around the room. This signifies the end of the groom’s single life

For all the days along the way
