New to Puerto Peñasco (aka Rocky Point)?

For guest who reside outside of Arizona, the best form of travel is to fly into Phoenix and drive to Mexico (3.5 hour drive). Because our US car insurance does not cover use in Mexico, it is required that you obtain Mexican insurance for the days that you are there. A passport or passport card is required to cross the border back into the US. Please follow all speed limits, especially in town of Sonoyta. Drink filtered or purified water. Rocky Points currency is Pesos but many places in RP accept all major debit/credit as well as US dollars. Rooms at recommended resorts are condo style and come equipped with a full kitchen and laundry room.
