ADRIANA’S VERSION: I will never forget the day I met Marco. He walked into the break room at work and said “Howdy y’all,” while our charge nurse gave assignments. Meanwhile, I was in the corner minding my own business and wondering who the heck this man was coming in like he knew everyone already. I would soon realize, though, that he is the type of MAN I need in my life--confident, funny, and the most loving person I have encountered. As time would have it, we started seeing each other more, traveling from hometown to hometown, and we quickly realized that a long-distance relationship was not our desire. So, we took a leap of faith only months into dating and decided to start travel nursing together! We moved our lives to Baltimore, Maryland, where our love story truly blossomed. Since then, we have traveled the world with each other from Italy to Hawaii, and I have realized he is who I want to build a future with. MARCO’S VERSION: I remember meeting Adriana the first day I worked at Baylor Scott and White in Temple. Even behind her mask, I knew she was gorgeous, but she was quiet. I didn't get to know her until we spent time in a different part of the medical ICU; however, as we took care of patients together, I learned about her new career in nursing, her goals, and her dreams. She led me on, though, as somehow, I still thought she was quiet and reserved. As we all know, quiet is NOT the word to describe this girl! Needless to say, as we became friends and grew closer, we eventually decided to go on a date in Austin. Since then, I haven't been able to get rid of her! Our adventures have taken us around the state, country, and world, and somewhere along the way, I knew I found my best friend and life partner.
