Through mutual friends, Torrey & Adria met at a classic San Francisco Marina establishment, Westwood, on the very last night bars and restaurants were open before the 2020 Shelter in Place went into effect. Shortly after, Torrey became part of Adria's "bubble," and they spent nearly every day together navigating what they lovingly called "Blursdays", filled with games, beach days, hikes, and endless exploring of the Presidio. Just a few months in, they took a coastal road trip up to the Oregon border, where Torrey fell in love with a remote cabin tucked into the Jedediah Smith Redwoods. That season turned out to be one of the most formative of their relationship. Weeks spent immersed in the redwood forest, paddleboarding on the Smith River, and embracing the slow, quiet rhythm of life in the woods gave them the space to truly get to know each other, and they fell hard. Back in San Francisco, they re-entered "real life" and built a life they loved: close friends as neighbors, chasing live music, and traveling, each adventure deepening their relationship. In late 2024, with Torrey's Santa Barbara roots calling and Adria fully won over by the town and its community, they decided to head south. But first, with just days before the big move, Torrey surprised Adria with a proposal at Inspiration Point in the Presidio, right where their journey had begun. These days Torrey & Adria are settled in Santa Barbara, soaking up time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors, and loving life with their pets. Over the years, their regular vacations to Mexico have become something they hold close, a chance to slow down, soak it all in and relax with each others company. So it only felt right to celebrate their marriage in Sayulita, a place that has captured their hearts, with all of you by their side. See you in Sayulita! 🤍
