Flight

Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

Rome has two main airports, but we recommend flying into FCO, as it is the most common for international flights. Popular airlines with routes to Rome include Delta, United, and KLM.

Rental Car

Rental Car

If you'd like to rent a car, you'll need a valid driver's license. Italy drives on the right side of the road, similar to the U.S. The route from Fiumicino Airport to Fiuggi is primarily freeway/countryside, so you won't need to navigate through Rome's busy city streets. Things to Note: - Tolls: There are tolls along the way. Ensure you take a ticket at every entry toll booth and pay at each exit. Credit cards are accepted. - Hotel Parking: Available for €20 per day. - Protection: Additional vehicle and personal protection can be purchased through the rental car company if it is not covered by your credit card or insurance policy. Be sure to verify your coverage in advance, as some credit cards do not provide rental car protection in Italy. Automatic cars are available to rent in Italy, but you’ll need to specifically request one when booking, otherwise, you may be given a manual by default.
