Once Upon a Time… Nah, a long time ago, Mat proclaimed that Kescia wanted to marry him under a Facebook picture in 2012. Kescia responded with a quirky, “Glad I could make you proclaim your love before the world” or… something like that. Although it was a bold move, Mat seemed to have set the stage for what would later become a Dream Come Troupe. It would be this very exchange that would spark curiosity and the courage to go after the unknown. Fast forward a little, let’s say a lot of miles driven and a few hundred dollars in cell phone bills, excluding free nights and weekends lol. Kescia dared to move from Tallahassee to Panama City but after two years decided to return home for school. Mat quickly realized that she was worth the journey and soon moved to Tallahassee from Panama City. After realizing that their connection was sealed with solid assurance, the two dared to face the journey to a committed relationship. This type of commitment doesn’t go without a few ups and downs, tears, heartbreak, rainy days, and even disappointment. But despite the hard moments, the two of them continued to find their way back to each other. Yes, it’s been a long road but God’s timing always proves to be perfect timing. There’s a newness here. There’s alignment and agreement and they have accepted that the reason and the remedy is God’s love. Cheers to a Dream Come Troupe!
