Our story started in 2015 at a bar in Long Beach, because where else do all great romances begin? The next day, I decided to test his coolness factor by inviting him to my nephew's birthday party at John's Incredible Pizza. He passed with flying colors, seeming like a genuinely down-to-earth guy.
