Chicago Skyline

Travel

Thank you so much for taking the time to travel from near and far to join us on our big day! Here are some tips for getting around Chicago. We also have a special room rate at Hotel Felix, our recommended hotel for the wedding weekend. It is centrally located and a great option if you want to stay close to the action. If you’d rather explore, great hotel options can also be found in River North (downtown energy and nightlife), West Loop (trendy, amazing food scene) or The Loop / Magnificent Mile (classic Chicago sights, shopping, and easy access to public transit). We recommend booking your stay as early as possible as things tend to book up.

Travel Note

Street Fair Obstruction

*Recent update* There is a street fair going on in the same neighborhood of our wedding venue. They will have Randolph Street blocked off. While this will show up on a GPS it may cause more traffic or parking shortage. Please plan to leave for the venue with extra time and uber is recommended over driving.

Travel Note

SpotHero parking

If you plan on driving we know Chicago parking prices can be very expensive. Download the SpotHero app to find more affordable options for overnight and city parking.

Train

CTA

If you are flying in and out of O'hare we encourage you to look at the CTA Blue line. It picks up and drops off right under the airport and is a cheap and convenient way to get downtown and avoid traffic and high uber fairs. If you are using Midway airport, then we recommend using the orange line for public transportation. You can find the stops closest to your hotels on the Apple Maps App.

Shuttle

Uber

June 20, 2026 3:00 pm

There will not be a shuttle too and from hotels. We recommend Uber, Lyft, or downloading an app called Curb. Parking can be hard to find and expensive so public transportation is often easiest.
