Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We are asking guests who receive an invitation addressed to them to RSVP September 1, 2023. There is a QR code in your invitation you can scan and RSVP. This is the preferred method to RSVP for our wedding. RSVPs sent by text to Erin or Josh will not be accepted.

Can I bring a date?

Yes, you may bring a date if your invitation allows for it.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Unfortunately we are not inviting children to our ceremony or reception. Our wedding is for 16+.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. We highly recommend you come 15 - 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to pick your seat. We do not have assigned seating!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
We are registered at Amazon. We are also accepting honeymoon fund contributions. You will find more information about this under the Registry tab.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! All parking is free of charge. Parking is on the back part of the reception hall on the gravel lot.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The attire for our wedding is dressy casual or cocktail attire. Our ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be inside a climate controlled barn.

Can I use my phone to record or take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We have reserved a photographer for our wedding day. Out of respect for our wedding ceremony, we are requiring guests to refrain from taking pictures on their personal cellphone during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is to be truly present, so please turn off all phones and cameras and enjoy this special moment with us. We do encourage our guests to take pictures with us at the reception!

Can I post pictures of the wedding day on my social media account?
Answer
Yes, you may post pictures you have taken on your personal device. However, please refrain from using sneak peak images from Kara Ruth Photography, as these are protected images and are investment we have made for our marriage.

Your ceremony is outside. What if there is bad weather?
Answer
Kentucky weather can be unpredictable, and our wedding planners will be watching the weather closely leading up to our special day. Should there be inclimate weather, guests will be notified upon their arrival to the venue where to go for the ceremony by Bluegrass Wedding Barn staff.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes, the UK football team will be playing Missouri at Kroger Field in Lexington, KY. GO CATS!
Question
I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! We are working closely with our caterer and bakery to include gluten free food in our cocktail hour and reception dinner and dessert. The known allergens in our food for our special day include dairy and egg.
Question
Can I smoke on the property?
Answer
Per our contract with Bluegrass Wedding Barn: Smoking and vaping is not permitted inside any Bluegrass Wedding Barn facility. Smokers must smoke outdoors and use the receptacles located at each exit and outdoor area for their ashes and cigarette disposal.
