HALDI - a purifying ceremony where turmeric is applied to the bride or groom in preparation for shaadi SANGEET - music and dance ceremony to celebrate the union of the 2 families BARAAT - the groom and his family arrives with pomp and grandeur at the bride's residence SHAADI - wedding ceremony. The rituals will be explained by the panditji during the ceremony
