Sometimes two souls are in the right place at the right time, and on the right app! This happened in December 2018, when Anita and Adi both "swiped right!" on the Coffee Meets Bagel dating app. While chatting online, the two instantly connected on their love for family, travel, and South Indian culture. Determined to meet Anita in-person, Adi left work early one fateful Friday and boarded the Caltrain from San Francisco to Palo Alto for lunch. What was supposed to be a quick date, became several hours filled with laughter, thought-provoking questions, and a mutual pride for being the older and cooler sibling in each of our families. The date went so well, the two ordered dessert just to keep the conversation going! Adi and Anita both had plans during winter break with their families but promised to keep in touch and send each other pictures from their travels. When they got back, Adi took Anita on the most perfect date ever: Taco Bell and wine on a rooftop with a view of the SF skyline! Both of them knew that this was something special and became an official couple one month later! Whether it was ice-skating in San Francisco, dancing in Seattle, skydiving in Virginia, road-tripping in the Pacific North West, or eating homemade food in Cupertino, Adi and Anita went on endless adventures together. They had each found their best friend for life! After Anita visited Adi’s family in St. Louis for Thanksgiving in 2020, Adi decided it was time to make this official. Accompanied by both of their families, they traveled to Hawaii in 2021, where Adi proposed to Anita on Diamond Head Beach. The two had an official engagement in St. Louis later that year with members from both sides of their family. They are blessed to have found each other in this lifetime and are excited to continue writing their story together with more friends and family this May as they get married!
