At the wedding, traditional Indian clothing is the norm. If this isn't an option for you, just consider what would be appropriate to wear at any other wedding, and this should be fine! At the reception, men usually wear shirt & tie, or suits. Women wear dresses (Indian or otherwise). For the ceremony, just stay away from reds, those are bride and groom's colors!
Manndola.com CBazaar.com Saree.com Utsavfashion.com Ladies, pro tip: If you've never worn a sari, now may not be the time to try! It is 6 straight yards of fabric that wrap complexly around you. There are plenty of people to help if you really want to, but it means you'll have to find someone who can wrap it (and do a good job!!). I recommend buying a salwar/punjabi (whatever the website calls it), or a lehenga. These require no extra skills to put on, and look beautiful! Gentlemen, you're looking for a sherwani outfit! In the product description, make sure the pants are included (its ok if they're not, but you'll need to buy them separately if that's the case). And remember to try and stay away from reds! Most websites recommended above will show you how to take your measurements and will make all outfits to custom size
Yes! Parking is available at the venue. There is both a parking lot, and a grass lot, plenty of spots!
We do not have a hotel room block. However, if you visit the travel section of our website we do have some information regarding hotels near the airport and venue that may be a good option for you! Our ceremony is long, and we understand that! Our guests are certainly not required to remain silent the entire time. We understand that our guests will likely talk amongst themselves. However, we do ask that you remain respectful.
