Welcome Party

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Beach

heme: Bohemian Coastal Let’s kick off the weekend with sand between our toes and a drink in hand! Join us for a beachfront celebration under the stars with bohemian vibes and tropical flair. Attire: Classy Beach Cocktail Think elevated beach chic—flowy dresses, breezy fabrics, and fun prints. Lightweight suits, linen shirts, and comfortable yet polished footwear are perfect. The groom will be in a colorful linen suit—so feel free to embrace bold colors and beachy elegance! The event will take place directly on the sand, so we recommend comfortable shoes (wedges, sandals, or barefoot if you’re feeling the spirit).

Maiyan & Haldi

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Convention Center Plaza

Theme: Vibrant & Joyful (Color: Shades of Yellow) The Maiyan and Haldi are joyful pre-wedding rituals filled with music, laughter, and color. Traditionally, this is when the bride and groom are blessed with turmeric paste (haldi) and surrounded by family to prepare for the days ahead. It’s messy, beautiful, and full of love! Attire: Traditional Indian Attire (Shades of Yellow) We encourage guests to wear bright hues—particularly yellow, which symbolize purity, positivity, and celebration. Traditional Indian outfits like kurtas, lehengas, or saris are perfect. If you don’t have Indian attire, no worries—light, breathable fabrics like linen or colorful sundresses are a great choice. Just make sure you’re okay with a little turmeric flying around!

Sangeet & Jago

5:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Theatre

Theme: Let's Go Wild The Sangeet is a night of high-energy celebration, where both families come together for an evening of dance, music, and performances. The Jaggo, a Punjabi tradition, follows later in the evening and is all about keeping the party going with joyful noise, lights, and laughter late into the night. Attire: Festive Indian Attire – Bright, Bold & Colorful This is the most vibrant night of the weekend—bring your sparkle, color, and rhythm! Traditional Indian clothing like lehengas, sharara/gharara and sherwanis are perfect for dancing the night away.
