Adina and Brie were brought together by happenstance, on the night of mutual friends' bachelor/bachelorette parties. Brie went to a game night with her friend Sam, while Adina went to a ladies' night with her friend Samantha. Eventually, the Sams joined parties and the groups began to mingle. After having more than a few White Claws and too many jello shots, Brie sat down on the couch with Adina and a conversation began. The details of that conversation are fuzzy to Brie, but Adina remembers a theme of "new beginnings" and a want to see what else the world had to offer. At the end of the night, phone numbers were exchanged. The next day, Adina texted Brie to see if she might want to get together again, and the answer was an enthusiastic "Yes!" Soon after, the two met at Heine Brothers for coffee/tea, and talked until closing time. After walking Brie to her car, Adina asked, "would it be okay if I kissed you?" Again, the answer from Brie was an enthusiastic "Yes!" Both left that date feeling like something special was starting to grow. The next time Adina and Brie saw each other was for Sam and Samantha's wedding. Brie sat in the audience, not-so-subtly watching Adina as she helped with music for the wedding and reception. At the reception, a mutual friend, Christina, told Brie that, "I see you looking at her, why don't you ask her to dance?" And so they did. And the relationship grew stronger in that romantic setting. Who would have thought it would lead to a wedding of their own?
