Travel Note
We encourage our guests to reserve their rooms sooner rather than later for two reasons. First, October is peak leaf peeping season. Second, there are several colleges in the area that host family weekends in late September/early October. It is one of the busiest times of year for Poughkeepsie, with lots of people traveling to the area. We imagine hotels will book quickly, so we recommend reserving your room as soon as you can.

This hotel is a 20-minute drive to our wedding venue. We will provide shuttle transportation to and from this hotel to the Red Maple Vineyard on Sunday, October 4. Additionally, this is where we will host our farewell brunch on Monday, October 5.

There are direct Metro-North lines from Grand Central Station to Poughkeepsie. The ride is approximately 2 hours.

There are direct Amtrak trains from New York Penn Station to Poughkeepsie through their Empire Service. The train ride is approximately 1.5 hours.
Flight
LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark airports are all approximately 2 hours from Poughkeepsie via car. However, it is also possible to get to Poughkeepsie via public transportation.
