Question

Where is Guatemala?

Answer

Central America - Neighbors are Mexico and Honduras!

Question

Is Guatemala safe?

Answer

Yes. Guatemala is just as safe as any of the countries we've vacationed to like Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. Just like anywhere else, there are great and not so great areas but we will be in a safe area. Just take precautions like you normally would when going anywhere else,

Question

How long is a flight to Guatemala?

Answer

It depends on where you're flying from. We are assuming everyone wants to have the quickest flight possible but of course flight duration increases with more stops and longer layovers/stops. We've broken down rough flight durations below assuming you would like to get there as quick as possible. Boston and Rhode Island: You are looking at around a 7 hr and 15 minute flight minimum, including one stop. Mid-west - You are looking at about at least a 6hr and 40 min flight including one stop. West Coast - Anywhere from a 4.5 hr non-stop flight - 8.5 hr flight including one stop.
