They met on a Saturday night in downtown New Brunswick. Chaz wanted to stay in, but his good friend Bruce pushed for him to go out. Adesuwa was heading out with her older brother Ogbe, to meet up with her best friend Amanda in the same area. Amanda mentioned that the Pizzeria down the street was randomly having an event, and that they should go. Chaz, who was having a decent time at this event, noticed Adesuwa come in. He thought wow she’s beautiful, and is that Prince on her sweatshirt?! Chaz then approached her and complimented her sweatshirt. The compliment led to a mouth to ear conversation, due to the music being very loud. Soon after that they were swag surfing, sharing laughs, and by the end of the night numbers were exchanged. Within the next five years, Adesuwa and Chaz traveled, attended concerts, and a myriad of other joys all while falling deeper in love. In September of 2024 Chaz proposed, and Adesuwa said yes.
