Gooseberry Falls is a fantastic park for outdoor enthusiasts, located near Duluth. It’s open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and you don’t need a vehicle permit to park in the wayside/visitor center lot. If you are staying the long weekend it is about an hour drive from Hermantown, Minnesota.
Split Rock Lighthouse
Split Rock Lighthouse is a scenic gem in Minnesota, offering breathtaking views of Lake Superior alongside the rich history of the lighthouse.
