Kristen is Rachel's younger sister, and even though they have been 'long distance' since Rachel moved away for university, catching up together over the holidays and over the phone has always been lots of fun. Even though they are siblings, they really do like each other! As a built in best friend, Rachel and Kristen have many great memories from childhood to adulthood across family vacations, games, and going to many concerts together. Kristen is very excited for her maid of honour role.

Amanda Carney

Best Woman

Amanda is Matthew's younger sister. They've grown up wrestling, playing mini sticks, road hockey, and always being very competitive. Now that they are back to living in the same city together after university, Amanda and Matthew are able to continue playing hockey together and wrestle. Through many sibling arguments they always forgave and stood by each other. Amanda can't wait to stand up next to her brother!

Rachel met Gabby on the very first day of university, and after years of coffee chats, studying, and simply hanging out, she feels very fortunate to call her one of her best friends for life. Gabby is incredibly generous, and has played a very instrumental role in the growing of Rachel's rubber duck collection. Gabby is always eager for spontaneous walks, errands, and adventures. Rachel especially appreciates Gabby for her can-do attitude and their shared love of sour candy.

Jordan is Matthew's childhood friend. They have been members of 4UNK since grade 6. Jordan and Matthew played a lot of soccer, road hockey, and video games together. Matthew knows that Jordan will always be there for him at the drop of a hat. They have gone through many stages of life together and are looking forward to this exciting one.

Rachel met Catrina in her second year of university, and has found an incredible friend in her through their avid membership in the university dance club, run club, and everything in between. Rachel has countless fond memories of unnecessarily long walks to go shopping or out for coffee with Catrina because of their collective stubbornness (in large part due to their collective stubbornness to avoid OC Transpo as much as possible). Catrina is also incredibly loyal and has earned the role of #1 supporter at Rachel's Ottawa road races.

Duncan was Matthew's first friend when he moved to Ottawa. Duncan showed Matthew around and they became close 'buddies' very fast. Since then they have played lots of hockey together making great memories. Duncan has always been a great friend to Matthew, teaching him new skills like deck building and manners. They always have a great time hanging out together.

While Rachel met Bri in the most random of places - the bus line up for a university trip to Saunders Fear Farm in first year - they were destined to be friends. They can relate on so many levels; from growing up Dutch Christian Reformed, to being frequent campers, and arguing about the Toronto Maple Leafs. Bri is the kind of person who is content to talk to anyone for hours and never get bored, and Rachel especially appreciates her socialbility good humour, and down-to-earth nature.

Ethan and Matthew met through his sister Amanda. They have since become very close, from ice cream dates to going to gym together. Despite becoming friends later in life, you would not be able to tell when you see them together. They frequently enjoy "hot tub fun time" at Movati and both share a healthy fear of Amanda.
