How did we meet?

Answer

Sarah went to a bar in Boston, Lolita, with several of her friends (some of which are in the wedding party!). In fact, it was the first time all of these girls had been together, without someone on call! Patrick showed up with his friend, and wingwoman, Margaret. She came up to us group of girls and asked if any of us were single and interested in talking to her friend who "looks like a lumberjack and bakes pies." Sarah was immediately interested and snuck a peek at Patrick before allowing Margaret to bring him over. Patrick then became "The Bachelor" for the night, talking to ~12 single women in the bar. He did not actually get Sarah's number that night, but Margaret did. Fortunately, Margaret passed along Sarah's number to Patrick and the rest is history.

Where is the wedding going to be?

The ceremony and the reception are both at the Shinola Hotel in downtown Detroit.

What time will the wedding begin?

5 pm!

Will I be able to stay at the Shinola?

Answer

YES! We have been confirmed for a group rate at Shinola. We will also have other group blocks available at other hotels for a less expensive rate.

Are kids invited to the wedding?

We kindly ask that you find a babysitter so YOU can let loose!

Where can I park?

Answer

There is valet service at Shinola Hotel. However, you may also self park for $10 at Z Park right around the corner, at 1234 Library St.

Question

Will there be any other events that weekend?

Answer

We will not have any formal events, however we are planning for an informal get together at the Fowling Warehouse Saturday evening at 7 pm, and we are staying in town until Sunday afternoon to hangout with anyone who comes into town!
