FAQs

Question

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Sacramento International Airport (SMF). It’s about a 2-hour drive to Lake Tahoe and typically offers the best combination of flight options and pricing.

Question

What is the event dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire—dress to impress. Keep in mind it will be chilly in Tahoe in November, so we recommend bringing a coat or wrap.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged—no photos or phones during this time. We’ll have a photographer capturing everything for us. Additionally, we ask guests to refrain from posting on social media, as we’ll have children in attendance and would like to be mindful of their privacy. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Will there be options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! Since we have a private dining experience, the restaurant can accommodate all dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free etc.). Please be sure to note any restrictions in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes—parking is available at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. For guests not staying at the hotel, parking will be available under the Dell/Adelman wedding event.

Question

Will it snow?

Answer

Snow is unlikely this time of year, but Tahoe weather can be unpredictable. Expect crisp, cool temperatures—especially in the evening.

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

We’ll be offering limited shuttle service for the day of the wedding. Outside of that, rideshare and driving are the easiest ways to get around.

Question

Is everything indoors?

Answer

Yes—all wedding events will be indoors, but there may be short walks between spaces, so plan accordingly for the cold.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Sunday to settle in and join us for the family dinner and welcome drinks.

Question

What are some fun things to do in the area?

Answer

Lake Tahoe is beautiful year-round, even in the off-season. A few favorites: Gondola ride at Heavenly for incredible views Exploring Heavenly Village (shops, restaurants, coffee) Lakeside walks and scenic viewpoints Please note: the golf course will be closed and ski resorts typically won’t be open yet.
