We first met our freshman year of high school. What started as a simple friendship eventually turned into something much more, even after life took us in different directions for a little while. When we reconnected in college, everything just felt easy and natural — like no time had passed at all. Our first date was in DeLand at the cutest little restaurant, Bake Chop, and we still smile thinking about how nervous and excited we both were. What was meant to be a casual dinner turned into hours of conversation we never wanted to end. Over the past four and a half years, we’ve shared endless late-night talks, homemade pizza nights, candle and pottery-making classes, and so many adventures exploring new states and towns together. From sunset bike rides to spontaneous weekend trips, we’ve built a love rooted in friendship, laughter, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Growing up together — from teenagers to the people we are today — has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Through every season, we’ve chosen each other, supported each other’s dreams, and created a partnership that feels steady, joyful, and full of love. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
