Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place on July 11th, 2026 at Christ Church Cathedral New Orleans. The ceremony begins at 4pm. Reception to follow at Audubon Clubhouse, located in Audubon Park.

Is there a way for me to watch the ceremony if I am unable to travel?

Answer

Yes! Our church will be live streaming the wedding ceremony. Please reach out to the bride or groom and we will make sure that you have the link ahead of time.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Seating will open at 3:30pm. Please make sure that you are in your seats 10 minutes before the ceremony so that the wedding party can line up for the processional.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional attire for men and women. Please keep in mind that our reception will be partially outside.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome at the church service but are kindly asked to not attend the reception. There will be time between service and reception if parents need to bring kids home and rejoin us at Audubon Clubhouse. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any questions.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you invitation includes "and guest" then yes! Otherwise only the names on the envelope are invited.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

July in New Orleans is most likely to be hot and humid so please plan accordingly. The church will be air conditioned. At the reception venue, there will be limited indoor seating, with additional seating on the verandah. We will have fans going and do as much as we can to keep our guests as cool as possible. If you would like to bring a personal, hand held fan you are more than welcome to do so! In the event of rain, there will still be seating on the verandah, there are flaps that will come down to make sure everyone stays dry.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

For the church service, there is limited parking in a designated lot (corner of Sixth and Carondelet) and there is limited off street parking as well. For the reception, Audubon Clubhouse has its own parking lot. Please enter the parking lot from Magazine street and drive all the way to the back.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a photographer to take photo of the ceremony please keep in phones and cameras away until after the "I do's." After that, snap away and share!

Where should I go between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Following the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking photos. Please remain at the church if you are asked to be in the family photo. Otherwise, we are not arranging a formal cocktail hour, but would recommend to our guests to get a drink at Superior Seafood (reservations required) or Fat Harry's! Both are located on St. Charles-down the road from the church.

How will I get from the church to the reception?

Answer

There is a streetcar stop directly in front of the church that can take you from the church to the bars (Napoleon and St. Charles). The streetcar can also take guests to Audubon Park. It is a 15 minute walk from the front of the park to the Clubhouse. Ubers are also a great option if you would like to stay cool!
