London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

Please fly into London Heathrow Airport. We highly recommend taking an overnight flight the evening of Tuesday, September 15, arriving in London the morning of Wednesday, September 16th to allow for jet lag and any unexpected travel delays.

Train

Heathrow Express OR Elizabeth Line

These are the two best ways to get from the airport to central London. Both are by train. Heathrow Express (Fastest) Time: ~15–20 minutes to central London (Paddington Station) Cost: ~£25–£37 one-way (cheaper if booked in advance) OR Elizabeth Line (Affordable & Convenient) Time: ~35–50 minutes to central London (Paddington, Bond Street, Liverpool Street) Cost: ~£10–£15

The Cumberland Hotel, London

While we’ve opted out of a hotel block, there are many great places to stay in London and we encourage you to choose whatever accommodation best suits your preferences. If you’re looking for something convenient and well-located, we recommend the Thistle - Park Lane, DoubleTree by Mariott - Marble Arch, and The Cumberland Hotel. Their central location near Marble Arch makes it easy to get around the city, with excellent access to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping. We will also be providing a shuttle bus to and from Kew Gardens (our wedding venue), departing from and returning to Marble Arch. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like additional suggestions!
