We're getting married!

We have known each other since middle school. We officially met in band class, but still barely knew each other. My sophomore/his junior year of high school, we had gym class together 2nd semester. We became friends and by the end of the school year we had started hanging out with our mutual friends. After 3 months, Randy finally asked me to be his girlfriend at the Luke Bryan Concert (who was my favorite back then) at the Jones County Fair. That day, I knew I wanted to marry that boy.

Christmas has always held a special place in my heart and is my absolute favorite time of year. Randy and I love spending Christmas with our families and we cherish everything about it. Each year my dad takes our family up to Reflections in the Park in Dubuque to drive through the park and look at all of the Christmas lights. Each year my sister's and I pile into the car with our parents. Christmas music, new pajamas, and all. We have always taken Randy which made it extra special for me. Christmas eve is always spent with my mom's side of the family. So like usual we had dinner and played a few games at my aunt & uncle's house. Randy had asked if I wanted to go up and look at the Christmas lights in Dubuque since we hadn't done it yet that Christmas season. Of course I said yes, so we head up there. Just the two of us. When we got to the park, Randy and I got out of the car and walked through some of the lights. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee! We couldn't wait to celebrate and share with our family and friends. BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!
