FAQs

Question

What should I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a few hours between the Nuptial Mass and the Reception, which will give everyone time to relax and freshen up before the evening celebration! For our out of town guests, this is a great time to explore San Diego- whether it is grabbing a bite to eat, visiting nearby attractions, or checking into your hotel. Check out our suggestions on the Things to Do tab!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 7, 2026. To ensure accurate planning, we kindly request that you respond by this date. If we do not receive your response by then, we'll assume you are unable to join us for our special day.

Question

Can I bring a plus one/my children?

Answer

Regretfully, we can only accommodate guests who are formally listed on your wedding invitation. When you RSVP, any additional guests will be reflected under your name. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding calls for a semi-formal dress code. Ladies, we recommend cocktail attire, and gentlemen can opt for suits with or without ties. To ensure our wedding party stands out, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing purple or green tones, including lavender, plum, sage, and olive.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

San Diego offers delightful winter weather, with February temperatures typically hovering in the mid-60s and plenty of sunshine. For the evening festivities, we recommend bringing a light jacket to ensure your comfort as our reception transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, ample parking is available at the church for the ceremony. At the reception venue, you'll find convenient on-site parking as well as additional parking options in neighboring buildings.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

For any questions or concerns, we welcome you to reach out via our shared email address at addymattykim@gmail.com or by texting either Addy or Matthew directly.
