Scotty & I met for the first time in June of 2023. We had grown up in small towns always knowing of one another, but in two completely different worlds. Our first date lasted about three hours till I took him to one of my favorite bars. Two hours into telling each other absolutely everything he popped the question & asked me how many kids I wanted. If you know me, you know that I've always had the dream of being a mom. I also partially thought he was insane. So, like any responsible couple would do, we settled on three kids by the end of the night. A year later we went to Nashville to visit our Uncle Brett & Aunt Ellie. Scotty thought we were there for a couple of comedy shows & downtown... but I also had three open house tours booked. By the end of our trip we realized we could have the family we've always dreamed of in a place that felt like home. We talk about the moment we both fell in love & there was never any specific time. We both knew from the beginning that we'd found our person and we were ready to create the life we had always dreamed about. The timing, situation, and story we had been given to live out was part of a greater creation. Our angels set up a blessing on that random day in June. God gave us both something that we could only imagine & we can't wait to spend our special moment with you guys. <3
