FAQs

The Wedding Website of Addison Dockweiler and James Meadows
Please refer to this page for any questions you may have regarding our special day. If you have a question that you do not see listed here please reach out to the bride or groom. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Question

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able, please RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation. To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the first and last name listed on your invitation. We kindly ask that you RSVP before February 22nd, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, there is a dress code. We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us, so we are requesting semi-formal attire. Wear whatever color you may like, but we would love to see bright colors for our spring wedding. Please no jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops, or white!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those formally invited due to limited space. If you receive a plus one it will be listed on your invitation. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we ask that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We hope that you understand and enjoy a night off on us.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony; please no photos or videos until the ceremony has concluded. We would love for everyone to be present in the moment with us, therefore we hired a lovely photographer to capture our special day.

Question

Is there parking available on-site?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available on-site, however we do encourage carpooling if possible (especially if you plan on drinking). Gates will close at 11pm.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, drinks on us! We will have an open bar available with premium cocktails, beer, and wine. There will be a complimentary tea and water station as well. We ask that you do not bring your own alcohol (no coolers, flasks, or bottles). There will be no shots or glass bottles provided by our bar service. If a guest is unable to comply with these rules you will be kindly asked to leave. Please drink responsibly.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, so we ask everyone to arrive at least 30 minutes prior. Find a seat, socialize, and began turning phones off/putting them away.

Question

What should I do if I am unable to attend?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible by selecting "will not attend" on your RSVP.

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We thank you for traveling to celebrate with us! There are plenty of hotels within 10 minutes in/around Tyler, including several off of I-20 and HWY 69. If you navigate to the travel tab, we listed some of the top rated hotels in our area. We have also included a "things to do" page for your visit!
