We Recommend Planning Your Route Ahead of Time!
If you are traveling on I-5 between Albany and Salem, and are taking Exit 242 onto Talbot Road, you will reach the Buena Vista Ferry that takes you across the Willamette River. Avoid this exit if you do not wish to take the ferry.
If you choose to ride the ferry, it may add 5-10 minutes onto your travel time. There is also a cash cost of $3 to $9 depending on vehicle size and amount of passengers.
