As you all are aware our country is going through a very unfortunate circumstance. There are many unknowns as we try to navigate this together. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak Culin and I had to made the very difficult decision to reduce the number of guests for our wedding. Our venue is following Bumcombe county law and only allowing 10 people to attend. Culin and I weighed all options of postponing and canceling; however, we decided to move ahead with a reduced sized wedding. Words cannot describe how saddened we are by this decision. This is not how we pictured our special day; however, your safety is more important. We do not want to put any lives at risk by continuing with our large guest list. Since many of our guest would require to travel in order to attend, Culin and I do not feel comfortable risking your health for our wedding day. We hope you understand that we do not make this decision lightly. We appreciate all your love and support.
On the first day of 9th grade Culin and Addison were assigned seats next to one another in art class; from that day on their lives would never be the same. As the school year progressed, Addie and Culin became even better friends. They joked around, learned one another's personalities and became closer. As their friendship grew their feelings evolved even more. Culin asked Addie to be his girlfriend under the stars on December 17th 2011. Eight years after that amazing day, many things have changed. They both graduated high school and moved from their hometown of Rocky Point, New York. Now, North Carolinians they are Appalachian State Alumni, a Winston-Salem Police Officer and Mechanical Buyer. Addie and Culin are proud parents of a four legged baby named Ellie. Even though many things changed in Addie and Culin's lives the love they share for each other has only grown. They decided to take the next step when Culin asked Addie to be his wife at his police academy graduation. Surprised, she happily accepted. Now the next chapter of their love story is just beginning....
