Lawson Gardens
This is a great gardens to wander around in during summer, and is right across the street from a great park with tennis and pickle ball courts. It is also the place where Carson proposed!
Kamiak Butte County Park
This is one of the only hikes in the area, and definitely the most popular. We have been here many times over the years and it has a great view of the Palouse! It is a pretty quick hike that can be completed in under one hour.
Stratton's Cutting Garden
This is a u-pick flowers farm on the Old-Moscow Road between Moscow and Pullman. Last time we went you could fill a bucket of flowers for $10. In the fall it transitions to a pumpkin patch and corn maze. Even if you don't want to buy flowers, it is a super cute place to visit, especially in the summer!
Ferdinand's Ice Cream Shoppe
Ferdinand's is an ice cream and cheese shop affiliated with WSU and are famous for their cougar gold cheese. They have really limited hours in the summer but this is a hallmark of Pullman and the university, so we highly recommend!
University of Idaho Arboretum
This is an arboretum that is connected to the University of Idaho. It has many bridges, ponds, plants, and flowers, and is a great place to walk around during summer evenings.
Airway Heights Golf Center
This is a great place to golf or mini golf between Moscow and Pullman. There is an 18 hole mini golf course that is really fun, and they charge $15 for adults and $10 for children.
