Our story began at Indian Hills Lake in Cuba, MO, where fate (and good friends) brought us together. Audrey's friend, Shelby, and Addison’s friend, Zach, were neighbors at this small community lake, and we happened to be their "plus ones" on the same weekend. We were all hanging out together at the Tiki Bar, we started talking and never stopped—hours of conversation turned into something more, and the rest is history.

Addison had a plan—a romantic proposal over dinner at Jess & Jim’s Steakhouse. But as the evening went on, nerves got the best of him. In his own words, he “choked” and couldn’t go through with it at the restaurant. Later that night, the perfect moment found him. Standing on our front porch in a light rain (yes, I know—cheesy, but perfect), Addison finally popped the question. It was intimate, unexpected, and...well...perfect.
