From the very beginning, our story felt like something out of a movie. On March 19th, 2022, Abhay and I met at a bar in downtown Lakeland—completely by chance, but somehow it felt like fate had been quietly working behind the scenes all along. From that night on, we were inseparable. Just ten days later, on March 29th, we had our first official date at Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant. What we thought would be a simple dinner turned into hours of nonstop conversation. We were so completely wrapped up in each other that we didn’t even order food—we just talked, laughed, and got lost in the moment. That’s when I knew there was something truly special between us. From there, everything fell into place so naturally. Every day together only made us stronger, and before I knew it, he had become my best friend, my safe place, and my forever. On November 16th, 2025, Abhay gave me the surprise of a lifetime. What I thought was a holiday party for my cousins work event, turned into my surprise proposal at Luna Lounge Rooftop in Tampa. It was a beautiful night, and in the most perfect moment, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Of course, I said yes. But the surprises didn’t end there. Right after the proposal, all of our family and friends came out to celebrate with us. It was the most incredible feeling being surrounded by so much love. The night was filled with happy tears, laughter, dancing, heartfelt speeches, and so many unforgettable memories. And now, here we are—planning the day we say “I do” and begin the next chapter of our lives together. I can’t wait to spend forever with my best friend, continuing our story and building a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.
