The Parsonage at St. Johannes 50 Hasell St. Charleston, South Carolina 29401
Please RSVP by August 25th, 2025 so we can finalize headcounts and seating. Thank you for letting us know as soon as possible!
If you forgot to RSVP, please reach out to us as soon as possible! We have worked hard to plan seating, meals, and other details based on our guest list, so knowing your attendance is really important. If it is past the RSVP deadline, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee you a seat or meal. Thank you for understanding and getting in touch quickly!
Yes! We absolutely love your little ones and cannot wait to see them breaking it down on the dance floor with us. However, our venue, The Parsonage, is a historic home filled with beautiful and priceless antiques. Because of this, all children must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us protect this special space!
We are so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. The Parsonage is an intimate venue, and we have carefully curated our guest list to reflect the people who mean the most to us. Because of this, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. Thank you for understanding and being a special part of our day.
We have reserved rooms at Springhill Suites in North Charleston for your convenience. Please visit the Travel & Accommodations section for booking info, deadlines, and the hotel address.
No, guests will be required to park in one of the nearby parking garages. However, you are welcome to drop off loved ones at the front of the venue before parking. If you require additional assistance or are unable to walk from the garage, we will have someone available to assist you. Simply pull up in front of the venue and let a member of our team know.
Please arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony start time (4:00pm) to allow for seating and to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you are running late (it can definitely happen in Charleston), please be respectful, and we ask you to wait outside until the procession ends to find your seat.
We are having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully!
The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting), followed by an indoor cocktail hour. The reception and dancing will then continue outdoors.
In Charleston in early October, you can typically expect pleasantly warm weather, with average highs in the mid-70s (around 77°F or 25°C) and lows in the mid-60s (around 65°F or 18°C).
Yes! A seating chart will be provided at the reception to help guide you to your table. Because our venue is intimate, we have thoughtfully arranged seating to ensure guests are comfortably placed with their friends and family. No one wants to end up in a lone chair surrounded by strangers, we have got you covered!
Please let us know when you RSVP or text/call Tracy Powell (864.940.0800), and we will make sure you are taken care of. Our caterer is happy to accommodate allergies and special diets (e.g., all allergies, vegan/vegetarianism).
We will be dancing the night away, just a little earlier than usual! The Parsonage is located in a residential area and has a firm end time of 9:00 PM. However, if you are still in the party mood, there is plenty to do just minutes away in downtown Charleston.
No transportation will be provided, so we kindly ask that you make your own arrangements to and from the venue. There will be alcohol served at the wedding, so please plan ahead. If you do not feel comfortable driving or happen to overindulge (it happens!), have a backup plan. Please use a rideshare service like Uber or coordinate with a designated driver. Your safety is incredibly important to us. Please DO NOT drink and drive. We want everyone to celebrate responsibly and get home safely.
Feel free to reach out to us directly! You can email us at cabaronganwedding@gmail.com or text/call Addison Powell (864.940.9673) or Christopher Barongan (803.389.3515) if you are comfortable. We are happy to help!
