We have blocked off rooms right at the venue for our guests! These lakeside rooms are first come first served. Visit the travel tab to view the options for rooms. There are unique options, so please make sure you are confident in the amount of people in your party when booking to ensure we utilize the entire space.
It’s okay! Lake Shetek Resort is a beautifully maintained campground with lots for campers or tents. If you choose to camp, you will only be a short walk or drive from our venue. Nearby cities such as Marshall will have hotel rooms as well.
We are excited to have kids included in our ceremony and part of our reception! However, we will be enforcing a 21+ rule after 9 pm. Make arrangements for the rascals!
Our day consists of a few different locations, however they are all on Lake Shetek. Our ceremony is a very short drive or walk to our cocktail hour, and the cocktail hour and reception will be right next door to each other. If you choose to stay on site, you will be able to walk to your hotel room whenever you want! We will not have a shuttle to anywhere off site, but will have rides available as needed for short trips.
In spirit of celebration, please wear semi-formal clothing. Remember we will be outdoors and be mindful of the weather. Considering the lakeside vibe of our reception, shorts and sandals are fine!
