Where should I stay?

Answer

Accommodations are listed on the travel page. We have a promotion with the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dawsonville by IHG. Guests will receive 15% off their stay and free buffet breakfast. To book using the promotion call to reserve and mention you are with the Fairchild/Hobbs wedding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm! Please plan on arriving 20-30 minutes early to accommodate for parking and seating. If you arrive late we would love for you to join us for cocktail hour and the reception!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! Please note that the ceremony is outdoors with a stone/grass walkway, heels will possibly sink!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have questions on who that includes please see our RSVP page. Your party members will be listed there!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available at the venue. To limit parking overflow please carpool if able!

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Gifts will be happily accepted but not expected! We have a house fund listed under the registry tab for any financial gifts as well as a gift list.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! The county has fairly strict consumption laws so please bring your ID.
