FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is formal garden attire! We would love for everyone to have fun with florals and spring colors. Men can rock a light colored suit with a pastel or patterned tie/pocket square. We suggest women wear a midi or maxi length dress in pastels or florals.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we are unable to provide a plus one for all of our guests, your formal invitation will state if you have a guest. Please RSVP for both you and your guest once you receive your formal invitation, let us know their name if it is not already listed. Thank you in advance for understanding. We are so lucky to have so many people who love us and want to celebrate with us!

Question

Why does the ceremony start so late?

Answer

A Jewish wedding that begins on Saturday at sundown is timed to start right as Shabbat ends. In Jewish tradition, Shabbat is a sacred day of rest that lasts from Friday at sunset until Saturday night, when three stars appear in the sky. During Shabbat, activities like weddings are not held, so celebrations wait until the holy day has fully concluded. Holding a wedding immediately afterward carries a beautiful meaning: the couple begins their marriage by carrying the peace, joy, and holiness of Shabbat into the rest of their lives together. Practically and spiritually, it’s a meaningful moment—Shabbat ends, the community gathers, and a new beginning starts. After the ceremony we will quickly move on to cocktail hour and the reception as we know we have a late start. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

If you are driving yourself, please enter through the South Gate on Hillcrest and proceed to the guard house. You will be directed to park in the south lot. If you are ubering, you will also go through security at the south entrance and be dropped off as directed.
