Our wedding is black tie. Go all out! We are excited to see everyone dressed up :) For women, this means midi or floor length gowns, and for men, this means a suit and tie or a tuxedo.
While we love the many little ones on both sides of our family, this will be a child-free event, with the exception of the children involved in our ceremony.
Yes! The ceremony + reception will both be held at Saxony Farm, where there is ample parking onsite. We have rented the venue for the entire weekend, so if you have a couple of Old Fashioned's, please leave your car and take the shuttle back into town!
There will be a shuttle to and from the Hilton in Downtown Lexington. You do not need to be staying at the hotel to ride the shuttle - local friends can hail an Uber or Lyft from the hotel at the end of the night (rideshare drivers coming out to the venue is NOT guaranteed). Our main priority is the safety of our loved ones, so please take advantage of the shuttle! The shuttle will arrive at the Hilton at 4:30 and depart for Saxony at 4:45 PM sharp. That is the only shuttle to the wedding, but there will be multiple trips made from the wedding back into town.
Our ceremony begins at 5:30 PM. In order to grab a glass of champagne and a seat, we recommend you arrive at the venue no later than 5:15 PM.
We have hired a team of photographers and videographers to capture the weekend in its entirety. We kindly ask that no phones or cameras are used during the ceremony out of respect for the event and to ensure that our vendor team can do their job uninterrupted. Please capture all the memories you would like during our Welcome Party, Cocktail Hour, and Reception!
