Our Story
Addie and Darian — or “Miami,” as most know him — met ice skating in downtown Chattanooga in the winter of 2023. Darian had known Addie’s family for years, though they had never met. At first, he thought she was her brother’s girlfriend and was relieved to find out she was actually his very single sister! In January 2024, he finally asked her out — Addie’s “hard to get” phase didn’t last long.
Since then, they’ve loved camping, hiking, thrifting, taking spontaneous trips, and spending time with friends, family, and of course, each other!
They have spent much time in prayer and intentional conversations, learning from each other and the people who know them best. They’ve grown together in understanding what it means to die to oneself, love sacrificially, and keep Christ at the center of their relationship. Darian proposed on December 30, 2024, and Addie said yes, obviously! They’re excited to tie the knot on June 26, 2026, and look forward to all God has planned for their marriage.
