Is there parking at The Ocean Course?

Answer

Parking is limited at The Ocean Course, so we’ve arranged shuttle transportation for guests. All shuttles will depart from and return to The Sanctuary parking lot, with departure at 3:45 PM. Return service will bring guests back to The Sanctuary after the reception. If you've booked accommodations through Kiawah Island Golf Resort (KIGR), you’ll also have access to their on-demand shuttle service—please note it may take time to arrive due to high island-wide use, so plan accordingly for travel to the ceremony. It can also be used to leave the reception earlier if needed. If you are not staying with KIGR and plan to leave before the end of the reception, we recommend parking at The Ocean Course.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

If you are parking and taking the coordinated shuttle from The Sanctuary hotel, it will leave at 3:45 pm. Otherwise, we ask that you arrive thirty minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure you are able to find parking and sit where you wish.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black-Tie Optional. This means that formal attire is encouraged but not required. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome; suits and long formal dresses are also appropriate.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only event and we appreciate you making accommodations ahead of time. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I bring a date to the wedding?

Answer

To remain under the allocated number of people allowed at the venue, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with the reception to follow under a tent.
