Yes, the ceremony is optional. Feel free to join us but no pressure if you want to just meet us at the reception. There will be seating for a few close friends and family members; the rest of those attending will be able to enjoy sitting in the California sand. The ceremony should only be about 30 minutes, so feel free to meet and celebrate with us at the reception!
Beach Attire: Wear those nice Lululemon pants, short-sleeved button downs, sundresses, maxi dresses, and sandals. We want you to wear what you feel good in!
The ceremony will be in Malibu, California and our reception will be at the Rogers Residence in Woodland Hills, California. The distance from the ceremony to reception is about 45 minutes!
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures at the beach for a while. Guests are asked to head straight to the reception where the cocktail hour will be starting and there will be some light bites to eat.
Once you arrive, there will be a sign with the schedule of how we are planning our night to go! You can expect— a cocktail hour, tacos, speeches, toasts, and lots of dancing!
Please contact Cort & Addi directly about this one! We would love to have all dates be welcomed, but running it by us would be much appreciated. (818) 644-3933 !
There will be a taco bar available for most of the reception and a self-serve beverage bar as well!
Yes! Please do! We will still have our self-serve cocktail bar along with canned options (White Claws, Beers, you get the idea). If you want more options, please bring whatever alcohol you love! There will be ice chests/buckets for beverage storage!
Addi knows a thing or two about food intolerances, please contact her directly if there is a request for something other than gluten and dairy free options.
We love kiddos, but if we have not invited your family directly we would love for our wedding night to be your night off from the little ones!
Early August in LA tends to be quite warm, but the wedding will be late afternoon so we're praying for more moderate temperatures.
