Future Mrs. Adderley-Arapan! Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Amber enjoys being outdoors and her dream is to travel to every national park in the United States. She currently works as a registered nurse in the cardiac catheterization lab at UF Health. She is so excited to marry her soulmate, SJ, and travel together and start a family.
Stephen "SJ"
Groom
SJ was born in Davao, Philippines and came to Jacksonville, Florida at ten years old. He enjoys playing videogames and cards with his friends and currently works as a Utilities Specialist at Swisher. He is looking forward to marrying Amber and building a life together.
Kim
Mother of the Bride
Kim Barclay is Amber's mother, who passed away in 2018. She got to meet SJ a few times before her passing, enjoying an episode or two of "The Bachelor" together. She was a beautiful, caring, and hard-working woman who loved her children very much. She would be so proud of both Amber and SJ and how far they have come.
Belle
Mother of the Groom
Ammabelle is SJ's mother. She was born and raised in the Philippines. She came to America as a registered nurse to support her two sons. She loves to sing at church and to spend time with family. Belle is excited to have her youngest son get married and raise a family of his own.
Pat
Father of the Bride
Pat Adderley is Amber's father. He was born in the Bahamas and passed away in 2009. He loved his daughter and taught her how to be independent, self-sufficient, and hard-working. He was present in all her sports and school events, and he would have loved to be here to walk Amber down the aisle.
Hazeal
Father of the Groom
Hazeal Mcdoy Arapan is SJ's father. He passed in 2001, when SJ was five years old. Although SJ was young, he remembers his dad loved watching basketball; he was a big Michael Jordan fan! Although Hazeal cannot be here with us, he loved SJ and will be smiling in heaven when he watches his youngest on his wedding day.
Maia
Maid of Honor
Maia and Amber have been best friends since late middle school/early high school. Maia is originally from Alabama, but has lived in Jacksonville, Florida for much of her life. Maia is so empathetic and a great listener, which is why therapy and social work suits her so perfectly! Maia enjoys anything that involves soaking up the sun and spending quality time with the people she loves!
Mario
Father of the Groom
Mario is SJ's stepfather. He enjoys going to church with his wife, Belle, shooting at the gun range, and spending time with family. He has loved watching SJ work hard to become the amazing man that he is today and is excited to see him get married.
Kelsea
Bridesmaid
Kelsea is originally from Keene, New Hampshire and moved to Jacksonville in 2014. She and Amber met while working at the Marriott Sawgrass in 2016 and have been inseparable ever since. Kelsea enjoys cooking and bread-making and has a dream of opening her own cafe!
Amiel
Best Man
Amiel is SJ's older brother. Amiel is married with two beautiful daughters and is a manager for a Biohazard Cleaning company. In his free time, he enjoys shooting guns and spending time with his family.
Bart
Officiant
Bart is one of Amber's long-time friends from church. During high school, he, Maia, and Amber were always together, spending practically every weekend at Maia's house. Not only does Bart know Amber very well, he is also a funny and talented performer, making it an easy choice when looking for an officiant.
Joshua & Timothy & Trevor
Groomsman
Joshua, Timothy "Timmy", and Trevor are SJ's closest friends. SJ has been best friends with Timmy since middle school and with Trevor since high school. SJ met Joshua through mutual friends six years ago and have been friends ever since. They all enjoy playing videogames and cards together.
