The dress code for both the ceremony and reception is black-tie optional. For men, tuxes are not required, but dark colored suits (e.g., black, navy, charcoal) are preferred. For ladies, floor-length gowns are preferred. There is no required color scheme. Please wear something you feel pretty in!
The bridesmaids will be wearing floor-length gowns in a rich plum wine hue. The groomsmen will be in black tuxedos.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM and all guests arriving after that time will be asked to wait before entering.
There will not be transportation provided to or from the ceremony. We recommend either carpooling with other wedding guests or taking a ride share. The church is approximately 12 minutes from The Adolphus Hotel.
For the ceremony, there is parking available in a lot behind the church or alongside the building. For the reception, we recommend that most guests valet at the hotel. *** SPECIAL NOTE FOR THE ADOLPHUS VALET PARKING *** The entrance to the valet parking is inside the parking garage found IMMEDIATELY after turning left onto South Akard Street from Commerce Street. We recommend turning into the leftmost lane immediately so you do not miss it.
