Our story begins in art class, meeting each other in an elective course that nobody wanted to show up to. Through the luck of a seating chart we met across a table. This was not where we fell in love to be sure, but it was where fate plays it's part. After swapping information as table buddies and nothing more, high school ended for Adan, and continued for Aryne. Years continued to pass, then the world turned upside down. The pandemic had grown while everyone was locked inside, stuck on their phones. While scrolling through his phone Adan noticed a familiar face announcing her admission to NMSU. On a whim he wished his luck to a contact he had in his phone for 4 years. From feeling alone stuck in our rooms to becoming best friends over FaceTime, our love had blossomed. Due to restrictions and protecting our families, we learned patience and adoration for one another. Our love only grew stronger as we truly appreciated all the times and all the ways we were able to spend together. Our first date was at a drive-in movie, we had our first sit-down dinner together in a backyard, and rapid testing was a normal step before a date. (We were lucky Adan was a nursing student at the time!) And yes, we wouldn't have it any other way. These beautiful memories during tough times are precious to us. We got each other through the toughest and most uncertain of times. He raised my spirits while I cheered him on. Now we get to spend our days together in a house we both share, forgetting all the times we ever had to spend apart. The next chapter of our story involves all of you in one place to celebrate us saying "I do!"
