Jamie has been to Puerto Vallarta several times and it's her favorite spot to vacation. It's vibrant, fun, and full of life. And the margaritas are huge. Kaleb and I went together a few years ago and had the best time. We love that it doesn't feel overly touristy - you get to enjoy the culture, the food, the people, and the beauty of the area in such an authentic and exciting way. We've always known it was the perfect place to celebrate with all of you.
The wedding ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Travel dates vary by guest. To enjoy all of the wedding activities, guests should arrive early on May 5 or earlier. The bride and groom will be arriving on Saturday, May 2nd. Please confirm that your room dates align with your flight dates.
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, it is essential that you remember to bring your valid passport. This serves as your primary form of identification when travelling internationally. Double-check to make sure your passport does not expire after November 2025. The six-month passport rule states your passport must be valid for another six months before you depart for international travel. It may take up to three months to arrive. Please update or apply as soon as possible.
We chose Dreams and Secrets because of their ability to host all types of parties. For people with children, bring them along, but please book at Dreams Bahía Mita. The hotel offers a babysitting service. Contact the hotel a month out at the latest to schedule. If you would feel more comfortable, we recommend bringing a family member, friend or babysitter to ensure you enjoy the celebration to the fullest. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to celebrating together!
RSVP to all events as soon as possible to help with our planning. The deadline is Wednesday, December 17, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make expectations and will mark you as a “no." We need to provide the venue with a guest count on time. We hope you understand.
First and second deposits must be made before Dec. 9, 2025. The final payment is due by Feb. 5, 2026. If you choose to use the transportation set up by Paradise Weddings, send them your flight information by March 6, 2026.

Punta Mita is absolutely beautiful in May - low to high 80's with slight humidity as the rainy season begins in late May. The high was 82 degrees on May 6th, 2025.
If you don't plan to leave the resort, the need for cash is low — maybe $50 / 800-1000 pesos. Depending on the exchange rate, sometimes it is best to convert dollars to pesos at your local bank at home before leaving. The resort can exchange this for you. The exchange rate at the airport usually isn't good. It is best to check before leaving the United States if your card charges an international fee (it's usually small). Tips at the resort are preferred to be in pesos. If you tip the housemaids, leave a small amount each day rather than a larger amount at the end, since they change daily.
While we'd love to have everyone, we're keeping things intimate and personal. We hope you'll understand that invitations are extended only to those named. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
We are so beyond grateful for the effort you'll be making to join us for our destination wedding. So please, no gifts!
Yes. It will be on the beach, so make sure to dress appropriately.
We wish, but they will stay home while their parents get married.
